At the Sand Cup the week prior, Showie made 3 great runs in Moses Lake winning the 1st round of the Sand Cup Derby, running again that night earning the Tim Corfield Memorial championship with a 14.92 and finishing the weekend placing 3rd in round 2 of the derby and earning the Sand Cup Derby Average Championship! And he won High Desert Stampede PRCA rodeo in Redmond Oregon that same weekend.
